Helping to Change the World Working Just 12 Hours Per Week
We have an immediate need for a very important and challenging “behind the scenes” international ministry role without ever having to leave our Ventura, California headquarters. Gospel Light Worldwide provides two significant yet different functions supporting the international Christian community.
The first and most obvious is helping children enter and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through culturally relevant children’s Bible study and curriculum around the world. The second and less visible ministry involves international book publishing, more specifically, helping international publishers acquire the English and non-English book rights to translate, print and distribute the most appropriate Regal Books for their market.

A Gospel Light Worldwide | Salem Communications Partnership?
When we launched our One Million Children storytelling website in March, we never dreamed that we would be partnering with Salem Communications the very next month.
Susan Hart, a Salem Radio Representative for Salem Communications picked up the One Million Children story hot off the newswire and immediately went to the check things out. She was delighted at what she discovered and immediately contacted our president, Marc Stein, with an idea.
Children Share One Personal Life Changing Story After Another
When Filmmakers Brent and Jenn Nims traveled to China, India and South Africa to document the real life stories of children around the world, they really did not know what to expect.
They visited humble homes, orphanages, townships and churches filming children telling their own stories, some of which broke their hearts.
Scary faces in the trees tormented Aashay from India. Tumi from South Africa had constant turmoil and tragedy surrounding him and his family. Two young brothers from China live in a dark, dingy, 250 square foot apartment with their sister and parents.

Bringing God’s Word to Children is Our Only Priority
The Gospel Light Worldwide (GLW) ministry is and has always been focused exclusively on bringing God’s Word to children around the world. We are passionate about it and have recently felt called to pray for God’s direction in redefining our ministry focal point.
Our prayer brought us “One Million Children”, a mission to help One Million Children around the world enter and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Children Emerging as Unexpected International Ministry Priority
According to the International Children’s Ministry Institute, Child Evangelism Fellowship and other respected organizations, somewhere between 83 – 86% of Christians worldwide become believers between 4 and 14 years of age. Yet, ministry to children has traditionally been seen as less important than with adults . . . until now.
Gospel Light Worldwide President Marc Stein says, “Even if the percentage is 67% as suggested elsewhere, it is an astonishing statistic and understandably most people are shocked to learn that young people make up such a large percentage of all new believers globally. There is definitely a change in the wind and children are emerging as an international ministry priority.”
